a sistuh or a brudder

T-2 days until our 20 week ultrasound.  This pregnancy is really flying by.  At a ridiculous pace.  I'm terrified that I'll blink and it will be Christmas.

I'm actually a bit nervous for the ultrasound, since the main point is making sure everything is okay with the baby.  I've had a few admittedly neurotic, but still scary dreams lately, which is pretty much par for the course.  I can't wait to see this baby on live TV, bouncing around and perfectly healthy.  That's going to be the best part.
The second best part is finding out whether it's a boy or a girl...obviously.

Aaron is firmly committed to his prediction of a "sistuh".  If you ask him, 'would you like a brother?', he says, 'No brudder, sistuh.'  And then smiles proudly.  That's sweet, bud, but my guess is you'll be whistling a different tune when you find out what a "sistuh" is.

He also, fairly often, decides "No baby" so you know, he's probably not really getting this whole "baby in the belly" idea.
Anyway, now's your chance!  Boy or girl?  Will you go with our toddler Nostradamus who has been predicting a girl for weeks?  Or are you feeling a repeat performance is in our future?

Personally, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA, so I'm not any help.  I kind of feel like I will be shocked either way, which is a little bit ridiculous, since it definitely has to be one or the other.  I was blindsided by Aaron's ultrasound, so clearly, my feminine intuition is a bit wonky.

Cast your votes now.  And bonus points for anyone who suggests that this one won't be the size of a 3 month old at birth.  I gotta keep my hope alive.

We are planning a big reveal at Aaron's birthday party on Saturday, so the news will be a secret in the immediate family until then.  26 hours later.  You could also lay bets on whether I'm actually able to keep my mouth shut for that long.  I won't be offended if you say no...that's where my money is too.

PS - In the interest of full disclosure, you should know that I just looked at the preview screen for the post and was shocked to see the post date as August 25th.  Are you kidding me?  Seriously, I have lost all concept of time during this pregnancy.  How is this happening??  My bad about letting another month go by without an update.  And I was feeling pretty proud of myself too.  Sheesh.
